Construction labourer rapes 4 yr old girl
In a horrific incident, a 48-year-old construction worker allegedly sexually assaulted a four-year-old girl at Panjagutta at Srinagar colony on Tuesday. The accused, identified as Rama Rao, who hailed from Srikakulam district, the police said, had sexually assaulted the girl while his wife was deep in sleep in the same room. He too has three daughters.

The accused, identified as Rama Rao, who hailed from Srikakulam district, the police said, had sexually assaulted the girl while his wife was deep in sleep in the same room. He too has three daughters.
According to Panjagutta police, Rama Rao came to the city a few months ago and was working as a labourer at Sri Nagar colony. He and his wife along with three other families were living in different rooms of the building under construction.
On Monday night, Rama Rao saw the four-year-old daughter of watchman playing alone. Taking advantage of the situation, Rama Rao took the girl to his room and raped her, the police said.
The girl’s mother raised alarm on hearing the scream of her daughter.
Alerted by the alarm, the neighbours caught the accused and handed him over to the police.
The accused was charged under Section 376 of IPC,” Panjagutta inspector S Mohan Kumar told the media.
