Techie, 3 others commit suicide

A 26 year old woman techie committed suicide by inhaling poisonous gas after her parents allegedly refused give their consent for her marriage to a man of her choice. The techie, who hailed from Kanpur, worked in TIPCO company in Cyberabad.

The woman identified as Lippi Mishra migrated to city about three years ago and was residing in Uday Wendstar apartments in Kondapur. At around 11.30 pm on Saturday, when her friend Ranjith Chaturvedi went to her room, he found the doors latched from inside and there was no response from her. He called the police and informed about the incident.
When the police broke open the door, they found some gas filled in the room and the woman lying on her bed unconscious. The body of the woman was shifted to Osmania General Hospital mortuary for autopsy. The Madhapur police have registered a case under suspicious death and started probe.
In another case, one G Rashmita ended her life by hanging to the ceiling at her house at Lower Tank Bund. The woman was suffering from lung disease for the last three months, the Gandhi Nagar police said. At Gudimalkapur in Asif Nagar, one K Kasham (28), cook from Mahbubnagar ended his life by consuming poison at his residence. He was facing financial crisis for a long time, the police said.
