3 chain snatchers held

Warangal: Gold ornaments worth Rs 6 lakh were recovered from three chain snatchers, who were arrested by Warangal Commissionerate CCS police.

The accused were identified as K Ramesh and Pavushetty Raju of Hasanparthy mandal and one Royyala Ganesh of Kothawada of Warangal.

The police have also recovered one auto-rickshaw and one two-wheeler from them. Raju runs a provisions store at Hasanparthy and Ganesh works as electrician. They formed a gang with Ramesh to loot women and broke into houses.

They were arrested by CCS Inspector K Sridhar when they were going to Doctors Colony on chain snatching task. During the interrogation, they confessed to their crimes.
