Ahead of assembly poll in Assam security forces on Monday evening recovered a powerful bomb from middle Assam town Morigaon, police said.
The bomb was hidden in a box near a bank in the town. Local people found the abandoned box and immediately informed police.
Police had found the bomb inside the box and defused it.The assembly poll in the state will be held on April 4 and April 11 in two phases.
