Man held for carrying foreign currency
The officers of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) apprehended a passenger at RGIA, Shamshabad, as he was about to board Emirates flight bound to Dubai from Hyderabad on April 13.
Hyderabad: The officers of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) apprehended a passenger at RGIA, Shamshabad, as he was about to board Emirates flight bound to Dubai from Hyderabad on April 13.
They seized an assorted foreign currency of about Rs 1.4 crore. The officers found that he was carrying foreign currency in his checked-in baggage concealed in three plastic jars and wrapped with black polythene.
The passenger was carrying the assorted foreign currency.
