Two teens gang raped by 5 youths
Two teenaged girls were gang raped by five youths at Chakradharpur in West Singhbhum district, the police said. The police arrested two of the five accused.
​Jamshedpur: Two teenaged girls were gang raped by five youths at Chakradharpur in West Singhbhum district, the police said. The police arrested two of the five accused.
One of the five youths who was known to a victim had asked her to visit a fair held on the occasion of Janmashtami at Chakradharpur on Monday.
The tribal girl attended the fair alongwith a friend and the youth offered them to drop them at their village Ghagraghat, about 11 kms from Chakradharpur, on his motorcycle.
The girls, who were aged 17 and 18, agreed to the proposal. However, he stopped the motorbike near a jungle, about a kilometre from the village of the girls, where four of his friends joined him and took turns to rape them.
Police were informed of the incident after the girls reached the village next morning and narrated the incident.
