Mancherial: The local police arrested Ramtemki Ramu (19) of Sripathinagar allegedly involved in stealing 13 two-wheelers and one auto-rickshaw, worth Rs 3.8 lakh.
Speaking to the media here on Friday, DSP John Wesley said that Ramu took to crime to fund his vices and also indulging in a lavish lifestyle.
According to the DSP, Ramu used to spend the money earned after disposing the stolen vehicles spend lavishly to indulge in vices. Several cases were registered against him in Mancherial district. He once lodged in a juvenile jail also.
Wesley said the youth lifted the 14 vehicles within a few months. The police registered a case and Ramu would be produced in a local court.
