Seven held for selling ID liquor
During the raids conducted at various places in Burgampahad and Dummugudem mandals on Monday, the excise officials arrested seven persons for selling illicitly-brewed liquor and recovered 35 litres of the product from them.

The raids were conducted by excise team, led by circle inspectors Rajasekhar Rao and Jayasri, in Anjanapuram, Pinapakapattinagar, Uppaka, Bhaskarnagar, Vijaynagar Colony, Raju Thanda, Sarapaka, Kannapuram, Narsapuram, Reguballi and Dummugudem. Sub-inspectors B Krishnamurthy and R Sitaramulu and other personnel participated.
