Two held for bootlegging

Sirpur (Asifabad): The railway police arrested two persons and seized 830 liquor bottles worth Rs 56,000 from them at the railway station here on Thursday.
Sub-Inspector Srinivas said the duo were smuggling liquor from Sirpur Kagaznagar to Chandrapur district in Maharashtra.
“Liquor in large quantities is being illegally transported to Chandrapur since there is prohibition in Maharashtra. This is the second-time we seized liquor this month. The duo will be presented in the court,” he added.
