Counselling stalled
Dr NTR University of Health Sciences : Counselling Stalled. The counselling session for admission into post graduate (PG) medical courses under Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) has reached an impasse on third day after the candidates staged a protest here on Friday.

Vijayawada: The counselling session for admission into post graduate (PG) medical courses under Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) has reached an impasse on third day after the candidates staged a protest here on Friday.
A few of the candidates have expressed anguish over the university authorities for filling up 15 per cent unreserved seats in Osmania University (OU), Hyderabad. Instead, they demanded the university to allot unreserved seats in colleges in Warangal and other places than Hyderabad. In view of the bifurcation, students were aggravated of seats allotment. As a result, they staged protest at the university compound that led to immediate stoppage of counselling.

Parents and students have staged a road blockade demanding justice. With Vice-Chancellor's unavailability, the management had stalled the counselling procedure at 134thrank and deferred it to Saturday. The counselling process may run for a whole day on Saturday.
