Internship scheme by HRD ministry, The Human Resource Development ministry has introduced ‘MHRD Internship Scheme-2014’ for Indian students pursuing graduation/post graduation/research studies from a recognised university/institute within India or abroad and would be given an opportunity to intern with different government departments in the field of education.

New Delhi: The Human Resource Development ministry has introduced ‘MHRD Internship Scheme-2014’ for Indian students pursuing graduation/post graduation/research studies from a recognised university/institute within India or abroad and would be given an opportunity to intern with different government departments in the field of education.

Students are eligible to apply for these internships if they are pursuing an under-graduate/ post-graduate degree or even if they are working in a research programme in education, social science, science, humanities, management, engineering, ICT and law from any recognised university/institution within India or abroad.

The government would be start with the first batch of this internship from October 1 and only six students will be selected per batch.

As part of this internship programme, students will work closely with the HRD ministry for two months and they will be paid a stipend of Rs 10,000.

Government officials said that this internship is being provided to students so that they can be involved in formulating policies and also understand how various projects are implemented.
