The Jan Sikshan Sansthan (JSS), an institute sponsored by the Union Human Resources Development Ministry, would start training programmes for unemployed youth from November 1.

The Jan Sikshan Sansthan (JSS), an institute sponsored by the Union Human Resources Development Ministry, would start training programmes for unemployed youth from November 1.

JSS would provide training in various vocational courses for the youth to start self-employment activities. The three-month training in refrigeration and air conditioning would be followed by a two-month training course in electrician; three month course in beauty culture; 15-day short term training in light motor vehicle driving, home appliances mechanism; 45-day long training in MS Office; two-month long training in DTP; three-month long training in tailoring and cutting; two month training in dress designing, computer hardware, machine embroidery, and six month long certificate course in medical lab technology.

JSS director V Srinadh further said, “We would offer similar courses for the rural youth in Vissannapet, Reddigudem, Mylavaram, G Konduru, Kanchikacharla, Lingalapadu, Penuganchiprolu and other places in Krishna district.”
