Severe heat wave conditions to prevail in coastal AP, Telangana. The Met Office warned on Thursday that severe heat wave conditions will prevail in some parts of East &, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam, Nellore, Chittoor and Kadapa districts and in Telangana during the next 48 hours.

Hyderabad: The Met Office warned on Thursday that severe heat wave conditions will prevail in some parts of East &, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam, Nellore, Chittoor and Kadapa districts and in Telangana during the next 48 hours.
- Nizamabad, Nalgonda & Ramagundam record 460 C.
- 450 C recorded in Kavali, Nandigama, Ongole & Vijayawada.
On Wednesday, heat wave conditions prevailed in some parts in the districts of Adilabad, Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, Nizamabad and Karimnagar. Rain occurred in isolated places in Telangana.
Nizamabad, Nalgonda and Ramagundam recorded a maximum temperature of 46 degrees Celsius in the southern region on Thursday. The other recordings were Adilabad 45, Hakimpet 40, Hanmakonda 44, Hyderabad 43, Mahabubnagar 44 and Medak 42.
In Andhra Pradesh too heat wave conditions prevailed in some parts in the districts of Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam and Nellore of Coastal Andhra Pradesh. On Wednesday, the maximum temperatures in Andhra Pradesh markedly rose at one or two places in coastal AP and appreciably rose at one or two places in Rayalaseema.
