Galla Jayadev Naidu, son of Minister for Mines Galla Aruna Kumari has been appointed as the new secretary for the Pradesh Congress Committee.
PCC president Botcha Satyanarayana handed over the appointment letter to Jayadev at Gandhi Bhavan on Saturday. Botcha said his appointment would help strengthen the party.
Jayadev is the Managing Director of Amara Raja Batteries Limited (ARBL), a leading manufacturer of advanced lead acid batteries for industrial and automotive applications.
He studied politics and economics at the University of Illinois at Urbana�Champaign and is married to the daughter of prominent Telugu film actor G Krishna.
