Musical Mission

The top names of Indian music scene - Indian Ocean, Dia Mirza, Lucky Ali, Usha Uthup and Neeraj Shridhar will be performing for 'Karuna' � one of the biggest music initiatives being organized by 'Heroes Project' to raise funds for children and communities affected by HIV. While the concert is being held in other metros for three years, it is for the first time that Hyderabad will be playing host to this music event. Actress Dia Mirza will be flagging off the event and talk about the initiative.

Speaking about his role singer Neeraj Shridhar shares, "I am glad to be a part of 'Karuna'. Sometimes we don't think about people who are going through pain, especially the ones who are affected with HIV. It is important to create awareness. Being a musician, I entertain people. But now, I have an opportunity to spread the message from this platform. I will proudly do my part."

The project uses the power and influence of community leaders to collaborate for change to bring attention to the HIV affected, especially children and to increase AIDS awareness. Actor couple Nagarjuna and Amala and actor Siddarth who are also the ambassadors in their mission will be supporting the event that is going to be held at Hitex on May 17 at 5.30pm.
