Pamulapadu (Guntur): The Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu said here on Thursday that Congress leaders were playing with the lives of Telugu people. Addressing a wayside meeting in Guntur district in the course of his bus yatra on the fifth day, Chandrababu Naidu termed the Congress leaders, Digvijay Singh, P Chidambaram, Ghulam Nabi Azad and Ahmad Patel as ‘Dushta Chatustayam’ and alleged that these leaders were responsible for the present crisis in the State.

He alleged that the Congress in the State had promoted corruption while the party at the Centre had failed to handle the economy. He expressed concern over the sliding rupee in the country and alleged that Union Minister Chidambaram had failed to handle the country’s finances. Naidu reiterated that he would stand by the people of Seemandhra till their apprehensions were cleared and justice was done to them. He assured people of his support in fighting against the Congress leadership.

Earlier, Naidu interacted with students of an engineering college near Tadikonda. He told them that he had created educational and employment opportunities for them by developing Hyderabad as the hub of information technology. He said he had built Cyberabad city on par with Hyderabad in just nine years and the capital was not less than Singapore. Stating that only he had the right to speak about Hyderabad and its development, the TD chief rued that students from Seemandhra could lose opportunities in Hyderabad due to the decision of the Congress leaders. He told the students that the Congress had taken the decision to divide the State to make ‘inefficient’ Rahul Gandhi as PM and ‘corrupt’ Jagan as the CM of the State.
