Grand celebrations mark annual day

Pomp and gaiety marked the annual day celebrations of St Joseph’s Dental College at Duggirala near Eluru on Thursday. The students took active part in various competitions and cultural events marking the occasion.

The college chairman and Bishop of Eluru, Dr Jayarao Polimera, congratulated the students for taking active part in the annual day fete. He told the students to concentrate studies during their stay at campus and also give time for cultural and sports activities that would help in their overall development.

The college secretary and correspondent Fr P Bala, principal Dr N Sleeva Raju and the deputy general manager of the Catholic Diocese of Eluru, Fr. G Moses, distributed prizes to the winners of various competitions.
