Classical concert to mark World Music Day

The Telugu Artistes Federation, in association with Swara Tarangini, will be organising a classical vocal concert at Siva Rama Krishna Kshetram in the city today to mark World Music Day. Mridangam exponent K Sadguru Charan will deliver a demonstration lecture on the occasion.

The organisation had felicitated vocalist G Harikrishna and violinist Vishnubhotla Krishnaveni to mark World Music Day last year in recognition of their rich contribution to the field of music. The federation felt that music organisations and eminent musicians in the city should come together to celebrate World Music Day on a grand scale as it would help encourage budding talent and promote the fine art in a big way in the capital region.
