Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma directed the stake holders of the metro rail project to fasten works and pave the way by removing construction material and cables before Ganesh Nimajjan.
There are 86 more properties to be acquired for the metro rail. L&TMRHL, the concessionaire for the project was informed to furnish a detailed progress chart showing the manpower deployed, target date for completion of different sub works across Metro corridors to conduct a micro level review by him.
CS advised CMD, TSSPDCL to expedite the issue of Line Clearance (LC) for completion of utility shifting works. He has also directed C&SO, GHMC to clear the revised estimates for shifting of street light poles in different stretches of Metro Rail corridors.
