A glittery affair

Sri Krishna Jewellers will organise a three-day expo-cum-sale of diamond jewellery at Hotel DV Manor in the city from September today. Speaking to newsmen on Wednesday, Sri Krishna Jewellers main branch manager Mallikharjuna Rao Yerramsetti said, We have a strong customer base in Vijayawada.

It is a very strong market for us in South India. People of the city have a strong liking for authentic diamond jewellery with contemporary designs. We have two showrooms and a manufacturing unit in Hyderabad. Another manufacturing unit is located in Hong Kong and showrooms in Detroit and Middle East. We are planning to set up a showroom in Vijayawada.

The expo will showcase solitaires and bridal collection of diamond jewellery ranging from chokers to long statement pieces and others. On purchase of a 9 carat diamond, 1 carat will be offered free. On purchase of a 9.5 carat precious stone, half carat will be given as complimentary to buyers at the expo.’’
