PEDICON 2016 begins
The 15th Tri-Annual Asia Pacific Paediatric Association, 53rd APCP PEDICON 2016, 5th Asia Pacific Paediatric Nursing, Hyderabad jointly organised an event related to issues on child health. The four-day event began on Thursday at the International Convention Centre at Novotel.

A ‘health walk’ was organised from Shilpakala Vedika to Shilparamam before the inauguration. MP Kavitha who inaugurated PEDICON 2016 said that the State’s healthcare and safety programmes would be vigorously held across the State.
She felt proud that 10,000 delegates from 22 different countries have attended this event and in future Hyderabad would be a Health Hub. From Friday to Sunday, medical care seminars on infant, children and adolescent would be conducted where paediatricians, scientists, doctors and other dignitaries would be participating. Lectures would be given by mentors from national and international institutions and hospitals.
Chief Organising Secretary Dr N Ravi Kumar, Co-Chairmen U S Jagadish Chandra and Ajoy Kumar said that PEDICON’s main motto was to provide better healthcare service to children. Organising Chairman Dr Naveen Thakker, Scientific Committee Chairman Dr Suresh Kumar, Organising Secretary Dr Shabbir Ahmed along with others participated in the event.
