AMF provides aid to athletes with disabilities
Tollywood actresses Shilpa Reddy and Regina Cassandra felicitated differently-abled athletes at Inorbit Mall in Hitec City as part of an awareness programme organised by the Aditya Mehta Foundation (AMF).
Tollywood actresses Shilpa Reddy and Regina Cassandra felicitated differently-abled athletes at Inorbit Mall in Hitec City as part of an awareness programme organised by the Aditya Mehta Foundation (AMF).
Regina, Shilpa and Aditya donated Rs 4.5 lakh to these athletes - Anand Kumar who ranks world number 1 in men’s doubles, Manoj Sarkar with world ranking number two in both singles & doubles; Mark Dharmai with world rank 10 & Girish Sharma who ranks 16 in the world and will be participating in the forthcoming Irish International para badminton and Rs 2.75 lakh was given to BSF athlete Kaigoulal. Upto 30 other disabled persons with donations in various forms on behalf of Aditya Mehta Foundation.
On the occasion Regina said, “The endurance ride intends to raise funds for the ‘Aditya Mehta Foundation’ to provide amputees with artificial limbs, fund their education and provide sports equipment specially designed for the physically changed.”
