In the year 1980, KSRM College of Engineering, was established by former Member of Parliament late Kandula Obul Reddy, with a vision to provide professional and technical education to the aspiring students from the four corners of the state. Since its inception the institution is progressing each year with successful results and abundant job opportunities.

Many students from this reputed institution have been well settled in various prestigious institutions and well known software firms like – IBM, TCS, HCL, Microsoft etc-. They bring name and fame to the institution. In year 2007 to cherish the memory of late Kandula Obul Reddy, K Sivanand Reddy, correspondent of the Kandula Group of Engineering Colleges have established another engineering college which has become famous in short span of time with great infrastructure, able-students and caliber faculty.

In 2008 K Sivanand who is also son of late M P Kandula Obul Reddy have established another engineering college KLMCEW which is exclusively for girls on memory of his mother Lakshumma. This college has not only given chance to the female students of the Rayalseema region but also has given boost to many to join engineering in this region. Many students from this institution have come out with profound abilities and obtained good job opportunities.
