TiE Hyderabad announced its Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) programme aimed for high school students of grade 8-12. Focused on nurturing future generation of entrepreneurs, TYE focuses on helping youngsters discover the rewards and challenges of becoming an entrepreneur.

“TYE’s mission is to offer a business education programme, geared toward inspiring young students to be entrepreneurs through mentor-based workshops, taught by established industry leaders, who foster innovation, leadership skills, creativity and self-confidence” said Suresh Challa, President of TiE Hyderabad.

He informed that the programme culminates with a business plan competition with cash prizes at the regional level and that students stand a chance to win $10,000.

“Approximately 40 students will be selected from schools of the city to participate in a collaborative, team oriented environment application process, which has started,” said Sreedevi Devireddy, Executive Director of TiE Hyderabad.

“TYE comprises of 10 classes, workshops and includes speeches by successful entrepreneurs, followed by lectures and interactive discussion and exercises on business related topics on Sundays,” she added.
