The third season of ‘Hyatt Culinary Challenge: People cooking for people’ was conducted by Hyatt Hotels recently.

Commenting on the occasion, Thomas Abraham, General Manager, Park Hyatt Hyderabad, said, “We are delighted to host the Hyderabad prelims of the Challenge. The event brought together people to celebrate their passion for food and cooking and also brought smiles to faces of the children from Smile Foundation.”

Girish Bhagat, the General Manager of Hyatt Hyderabad Gachibowli expressed, “This is a place where, culinary expertise, passion for food and empathy for underprivileged fills everyone’s heart.”

The prelims were hosted at both Park Hyatt premises in which Ambika Philip from PVP Ventures won the first prize. The cook-off was followed by a cocktail reception.

Speaking about her victory, Ambika who teamed up with Aparna from Smile Foundation said that she presented the dish close to her heart. “I have chosen this dish from Mumbai as I met my husband there, we have fond memories of tasting this dish at Bade Miyan where our story started,” she said.

“The competition was tough, but I prepared my dish with passion, love and a lot of fun with Aparna. I am eagerly waiting to stir up another dish at the grand finale at Hyatt Regency Chandigarh,” she said.
