Nizamabad: Chief Electoral Officer Bhanwarlal urged the District Collectors to furnish information on the changes that took place with regard to the Assembly and Parliamentary constituencies after the reorganisation of districts in the Telangana State.

Addressing the District Collectors through a video-conference here on Tuesday, he said that elections have to be held in the new districts and for this purpose, details have to be provided.

He inquired from the Collectors whether there were any problems in conducting elections in the new districts.

Participating in the video conference, District Yogitha Rana said that in the unidived Nizamabad district, there were nine constituencies and after the creation of new districts, Nizamabad was left with five constituencies, Kamareddy district has three constituencies and Banswada has one constituency.

She said that there were 110 polling stations in the districts and for Kamareddy, 100 polling stations.

Bhanwarlal said that the District Collector Yogitha Rana would be in-charge of all the 110 polling stations in the three mandals of Banswada.

The Collector said that the Manala village of Kammarpalli mandal has been merged in Rudrangi mandal of Rajanna Sircilla district and Babulgam village of Jukkal mandal has been shifted transferred to Kangati mandal in Sangareddy district.

Kamareddy District Collector N Satyanarayana, Nizamabad District Revenue Officer Padmakar, Kamareddy RDO Nagesh Reddy and others were present on the occasion.
