DELTA elects new body
Senior teachers T Kumarswamy and K Sampath Kumar have been elected as president and general secretary in an election held at Government High School in Hanamkonda on Friday.
Warangal: A new committee for Warangal Urban District English Language Teachers Association (DELTA) has been elected.
Senior teachers T Kumarswamy and K Sampath Kumar have been elected as president and general secretary in an election held at Government High School in Hanamkonda on Friday.
The association leader K Srinivas Reddy acted as the election officer. Md Khaleel Pasha and R Padmavathi were elected as vice presidents, M Roja Rani and A Anitha were elected as joint secretaries while M Sudhakar was elected as the treasurer of the association.
Mahipal Patnaik and K Saroja Devi would be the district counsellors.B Chokkaiah and Md Hussain were elected as state counsellors and Satyaprakash Rao would act as media in-charge for the association.
The newly elected committee led by the association founder president B Komuraiah has called on the DEO S Srinivasa Chary on the day.
During his interaction with the association leaders, the DEO has appealed them to devise programmes to make the students fluent in English language and promised all possible support from the department in that direction.
