Swachh Bharat Abhiyan conducted
Led by the NSS wing of University Post Graduate College, as many as 150 students and faculty of the college conducted ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ on the college premises in Hanamkonda on Monday.
Hanamkonda: Led by the NSS wing of University Post Graduate College, as many as 150 students and faculty of the college conducted ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ on the college premises in Hanamkonda on Monday.
They cleared the wild growth of plants and removed garbage. The college principal Prof K Vijaybabu has administered Swachh Bharat pledge.
‘Swachh Bharat programme helps to achieve a clean India as dreamed by Mahatma Gandhi.
Every student should take it in true spirit and maintain cleanliness not only at the college and at their residences as well,’ he told the students.
Faculty members Narender Naik, Vijay Kumar, K Yakaiah, Rama Devi, NSS programme officer E Raju and others were present.
