Nalgonda: District Collector Gaurav Uppal ordered officials concerned to take all precautionary measures and make necessary arrangements for the smooth conduct of six-day annual Brahmotsavams of Jadala Ramalingeshwara Swamy temple in Cheruvugattu of Narketpalli mandal, to start from Friday.

On Thursday, along with SP Prakash Reddy, Joint Collector Satyanaryana Reddy, he visited the Cheruvugattu temple and inspected the arrangements. Speaking to officials of line departments engaged during the Brahmotsavams, the Collector ordered them to put up barricades, provide drinking water and toilets facilities for the devotees.

He directed the officials to work round-the-clock in shifts during the festive days. He advised respective officials to make available of fire engines and arrange special medical camps for the safety and security of the devotees. He suggested police officials to take care of traffic control during Brahmotsavam days.
