Record-breaking speech by Dwana Shastry

Dr Dwana Shastry was honoured with the title 'Saraswatha Vachonidhi' for his 12-hour world record-breaking speech on Telugu literature on September 2, at Tyagaraya Ganasabha. The event was organised by Bingi Narender Reddy, president, Goldstar Youth Cultural Organisation. Chief Guest for the event was Gnanapeeth awardee Dr C Narayana Reddy, Prof Manasa Chennappa, Vamsee Ramaraju and Tyagaraya Gana Sabha president, Kala Deekshitulu attended the event. Dwana Shastry has entered the Unique World Records, Wonder Book of Records and Telugu Book of Records with his non-stop address recently. G Nidhi, Amrutha and Gopika Krishna performed classical and folk dances at the event.
