Leadership Redefined At CDM. There were power point presentations with real life situations about life at the borders to give more clarity and understanding to the participants to achieve the desired results.

The College of Defence Management conducted a two day annual seminar on building new generation of visionary leaders. The chief guest of the event was Shekhar Dutt, Governor of Chattigarh along with the Chief Integrated Defence Staff, Lt Gen Anil Chait.
The programme was attended by former Chiefs of the Army staff and other top officers both serving and retired and Armed Forces officers.
There were lectures on visionary leadership, their role in the country’s security and to improve the technology and other infrastructure to face and overcome any challenge posed on us from anywhere across the world.
There were power point presentations with real life situations about life at the borders to give more clarity and understanding to the participants to achieve the desired results.
Chief of Integrated Defence Staff Lt.Gen Anil Chait, while addressing the gathering, said that a visionary leader is able to tap the hopes and dreams of people and create a destination that not only inspires but also challenges them to be better.
Shekhar Dutt, said, “Leadership is beyond a mere skill. I would consider it is military load-bearing pillar. When the military is at its best, leadership is the key ingredient. When it is at its worst, we hear of a leadership crisis. All over the world military establishments concentrate overwhelmingly on evaluating the quality of leadership through a product evaluation.”
Air Vice Marshal Rajeev Sachdeva, Commandant CDM, said that this conference will help the participants go a long way in their future challenges in their career and for successful accomplishments.
