Eco-friendly autos are here!

In a revolutionary step, Adapt motors unveiled their innovative eco-friendly auto-rickshaw modes ‘Sweekar’ in the city recently. At a high-profile event the battery-operated three-wheelers were launched by Deputy CM Md Mahmood Ali along with Home Minister Naini Narasimha Reddy.

“Sweekar and Sweekar-L are path breaking innovative models, which have been manufactured with detailed research,” said Director of Adapt Motors Bharath Mamidoju. “The world is now looking forward to renewable energy, fuel reserves are drying up and damage to the environment has been extensive with uncontrolled and excessive usage of fossil fuel. Adapt Motors took an account of air pollution levels in metropolitan cities into consideration and we up with a solution,” he said.

Co-founder Madhu said, "Adapt Motors constantly work towards R&D. The need for innovation, convergence and creativity is a force that fuels us to look beyond the boundaries of imagination and create works that blur the line between science fiction and reality.” Sweekar & Sweekar-L have the Adapt Motors’ patented ‘Emergency Pedal Charging System’ (EPCS), which enables users to generate electric charge through self-pedal mechanism. The company has bagged orders for about 500 units and is ready to roll out the vehicles on the streets soon.
