A Mohd Ali show all the way

It was a magnificent triple for Lal Bahadur Stadium (LBS) paddler, Mohd Ali, whose stellar performance was the most telling aspect of the third Telangana State ranking table tennis tournament, which was sponsored by Mahaveer Group of Institutions, at Mahaveer Institute of Science and Technology at Bandlaguda in Keshavagiri on Sunday.

Playing at his aggressive best, Ali was the star of the day while winning the junior and youth boys singles titles besides emerging as the new men champion. It has been a watershed event for the second year Intermediate (PEC) student of Jawahar Junior College in Yakutpura.

Meanwhile, Gujarati Seva Mandal (GSM) player Varuni Jaiswal clinched a double with the junior and youth girls singles titles while Naina from Lal Bahadur Stadium won the women title defeating HVS player G Pranitha, who lost all three finals she contested.
