A guideline for teachers

RS Praveen Kumar, Secretary of the TSWREIS, released a book ‘Teaching Psychology’, written by Dr C Veerender, Psychologist and Personality Development Trainer, at TSWREIS, Masab Tank on Tuesday.

The book is essentially meant for teachers and it lays stress on understanding students’ psychology, and methods to employ to identify and nurture the true potential of students from diverse sections of the society.

Author Veerender says, “This book is a guideline for teachers which works in three ways—how to make the student understand, how to improve teachers teaching skills in the classroom and what all things teachers should follow in the classroom. It helps teachers to teach student from nursery to intermediate classes.”

Speaking about the book, Veerender shares, “It helps the teacher to list down the study materials like what for you are teaching, what aims you want to teach and how students are learning.

In this one year, they can improvise the teaching skills; you can understand the students as well as you can implicate what models you can teach the students which can improvise their study. It will guide without destroying the curiosity of the student how a teacher can teach a subject. I wish that every teacher can follow this book and upraise student well.”

“In the whole scenario, there is no book for the teachers. These days, there are a lot of things and activities are coming out in schools, but very few teachers doesn’t really know what exactly is the issue, some teachers are trained before but they are preparing only for exams but they do not understand the changing scenario how the students are changing.

So, to address all the issues we should make the student understand. There is no such book available in the market which is helpful for the teachers. I want to prepare the better individuals; every student should be trained best in the classroom. I wish that this book will help every teacher,” he adds.

“The English version of the book will be released in a month. Right now, we are releasing the Telugu version. In this book, the questions are given in English but answers are available in Telugu.”
