Colleagues help kin of geologist who committed suicide
The bereaved family of Krishna, an employee of Department of Ground Water Resources at Siddipet, who committed suicide two weeks back, was financially helped by his colleagues and friends who presented a cheque of Rs. 4.15 lakh through the hands of Minister T Harish Rao on Wednesday at his residence here.

Director of Ground water Resources Department Pandit Madnure, JD Laxma Reddy, DDs Venkateshwar Rao, Rama Rao, EEs Sahadev, Rama Rao and AHG Satyanarayana and the family members of Krishna participated in the presentation. Krishna, who was a resident of Basantpur village of Nyalkalmandal, committed suicide by hanging himself to a tree in his village on April 16 while he was reportedly being investigated by police in a murder case of his villager.
