Dy Mayor inspects nala widening works
Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Deputy Mayor Baba Fasiuddin, GHMC officials, and MLA A Gandhi visited Deepti Nagar Colony in Chandanagar division here on Thursday to take stock of the situation on the nala works in the area.
Serilingampally: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Deputy Mayor Baba Fasiuddin, GHMC officials, and MLA A Gandhi visited Deepti Nagar Colony in Chandanagar division here on Thursday to take stock of the situation on the nala works in the area. GHMC Deputy Mayor instructed the contractor to speed up the works before the onset of monsoon and see that the works gets completed on time.
MLA A Gandhi said that the works should not hinder the people living in the area and also the Masjid that is nearby should not be affected in any way. The works should go on without compromising on quality. Once the nala widening works get completed, the people will have respite from flooding and sewerage overflow into the roads and houses. Local corporator P Navatha Reddy said, "It is a long felt dream of the people and would be carried out on time before the rainy season.”
