The 62nd ranker in the Civil Services Examination (CSE) conducted by Union Public Service Commission, Jameel Fatima Zeba was felicitated by Centre for Educational Development of Minorities (CEDM) at a programme which was presided over by Advisor to Government for Minorities Welfare, A K Khan. 

Hyderabad: The 62nd ranker in the Civil Services Examination (CSE) conducted by Union Public Service Commission, Jameel Fatima Zeba was felicitated by Centre for Educational Development of Minorities (CEDM) at a programme which was presided over by Advisor to Government for Minorities Welfare, A K Khan.

Addressing the felicitation function organised by the CEDM at Madina Education Centre, Nampally, A K Khan said that Zeba has set an example for others. He emphasized the need for increasing representation of Minorities in civil services and expressed his desire to set up an institution on the lines of Hamdard Study Circle, Delhi for guidance, coaching and training to the young aspirants of civil services.

On this occasion he listed the welfare measures by the Government of Telangana for educational development of minorities. A K Khan advised the young Civil Service Officers to guide the young aspirants for a few years so that they can get inspiration, courage and confidence for cracking civil service examinations.

Earlier Prof S A Shukoor, Director CEDM welcomed the gathering and said that the centre is organising various activities for providing coaching to job-oriented examinations. Shahnawaz Qasim, Director Minorities Welfare said that girls are coming ahead in all fields. He advised the young civil service aspirants to make attempts with courage.

CSE 62nd ranker, J F Zeba advised the other aspirants not to lose courage and confidence and said that people should not give up at any moment. Her father Habeebullah Khan said that since childhood she was enthusiastic and full of determination and through her sheer hard work was able to crack the civils.
M A Waheed Managing Director Minorities Finance Corporation, Mir Ayub Ali Khan Journalist, Dr. Fakhruddin Mohammed (MESCO), Mr Zafer Javeed, Secretary Muffakham Jah College, Lateef Khan (MS institutions), Syed Basharat Engineer and others also spoke. K. M. Arifuddin (Madina Educational Society) presented Rs 1 lakh cheque to Zeba. She was also presented bouquets, shawls and mementoes by CEDM and various other organisations.
