LB Nagar: IGP (Law and Order) in charge of Women Safety including SHE teams, Swathi Lakra cautioned girl students to be careful while dealing with strangers at second day of ‘Summer Camp’ for children on policing organised by Rachakonda police at Goteti Function Hall on Friday.
She explained to the participants about the need for establishment and functioning of SHE teams. To avert attacks and harassments on women and girls, the Telangana Government formed SHE teams, Swathi Lakra said. She advised the students to strive for reaching their goals.
Strangers with malicious intent are always on the lookout for gullible girls and women. Swathi cautioned girls not to get swayed by strangers’ gestures and ‘so called help’ that they offer.
