Speaking as the chief guest at the State Asha Workers’ Committee meeting at Sundarayya Vignana Kendram, he urged Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to increase the workers’ salaries on the State Formation Day, June 2, while recalling his act of raising them on May 5 last year.

He also appealed to the government to extend insurance cover to the Asha workers. While Association president Sunita was in the chair, its advisers Nirudu Krishna, Sudharani, Rameswari, Mahalaxmi, Radhika, Yashoda, Narmada attended.
