Chilakalguda: The spilling of water while filling water in the tanks at reservoirs is leading to muddy roads and mud pools on the premises of Water Board Office. The Mee Seva Centre on the same premises remains open for customers till eight pm.

With no proper lighting on the premises the Mee Seva customers are facing a lot of inconvenience to walk through the mud filled path. The locals complained that many people slipped, and many fell in the mud pools injuring themselves and spoiling their dresses.

They blamed lack of co-ordination between GHMC and electricity officials in solving the problem. They lamented that it would become a major problem as the monsoon is supposed to arrive in few days. When contacted, Water Board DGM Sridhar Reddy said that they would bring the issue to the notice of higher authorities.
