Telangana government has taken up the initiative to develop the parks in the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) limits. In this context Telangana Chief Secretary S K Joshi visited Botanical garden, Kondapur along with the officials and inspected the developmental works which are taking place.

In this context Telangana Chief Secretary S K Joshi visited Botanical garden, Kondapur along with the officials and inspected the developmental works which are taking place.

The Telangana Forest Development Corporation has developed the botanical park and now introducing the various facilities like environment education centre, video hall, indoor gym, skating rink, tree cottage, bamboo house, yoga centre and souvenir shop, at an estimated cost of Rs 5 crore. After the inspection of garden S K Joshi said “This Botanical Garden is going to be the role model for the proposed urban forest parks to be developed in Hyderabad.”

Telangana Forest department chief secretary Ajay Mishra, Revenue department chief secretary Rajeshwar Tiwari, PCCF Raghuveer, DGP Jithendar, Cyberabad Police Commissioner Sajjanaar, Traffic DCP Vijay Kumar, Gachibowli Inspector Gangadhar, SI Sreenadh, Sangeev accompanied Mrs.Joshi.
