Gesture of 2005 batch-mates of slain cops to family

The 2005 batch of Cyberabad Civil Constables on Wednesday contributed Rs 1.25 lakh to family of Sushil Kumar, who was killed in an encounter with Maoists on March 2 this year in Kothagudem. Sushil Kumar was deputed to the Greyhounds in 2010.
Madhapur: The 2005 batch of Cyberabad Civil Constables on Wednesday contributed Rs 1.25 lakh to family of Sushil Kumar, who was killed in an encounter with Maoists on March 2 this year in Kothagudem. Sushil Kumar was deputed to the Greyhounds in 2010.
Cyberabad Commissioner of Police Sajjanar handed over a cheque to the family members in an attempt to give confidence to them. The CP telephoned Sangareddy SP Chandrasekhar Reddy to provide employment to Kumar’s widow at the earliest, as suggested by the DGP. Among those present were Kumar’s batch mates Venu Goud, Shyam Kumar, G Krishna Reddy, president of Cyberabad Police Officers’ Association Ch Bhadra Reddy, Kumar’s family members.
