An official with the service said that the ambulance is equipped with oxygen cylinder, cooling kits, glucose, medical tools, emergency medicines, vitamin tabloids, and stretcher. This mobile Veterinary Clinic is getting tremendous response in villages and is becoming popular with each passing day.
While 108 has become synonymous for ferrying the injured, 1962 too is now gaining traction.

“Previously it used to be very difficult to take the animals to the hospitals. But now when we call the mobile clinic, the response is very quick and treatment is also very good,” says Praveen farmer of Rameshwarambanda village. Dr B L Barman, veterinary doctor from Patancheru says they received 326 calls from farmers since January and 1,315 animals have been treated.
