15 two-wheelers seized in cordon & search operation
n the presence of Sangareddy SP Chandrasekhar Reddy, police conducted a cordon and search operation at Babanagar Colony in Jogipet town in Sangareddy district.
Jogipet: In the presence of Sangareddy SP Chandrasekhar Reddy, police conducted a cordon and search operation at Babanagar Colony in Jogipet town in Sangareddy district.
During the operation, 15 two-wheelers were impounded due to lack of proper documents and the persons with criminal record were questioned. Sangareddy DSP, four CIs, 9 SIs and 100 police personnel participated in the operation. SP Chandrasekhar said the cordon and search operation was held for the security of the locals and to avoid the anti-social and illegal activities by the criminals in the area.
He directed the residents of the colony not to rent their houses without proper investigation about the tenants and call up the police on 100 if any untoward or suspicious things happen in the locality. The owners can get their vehicles back by submitting required documents at the police station, said the officer.
