Vikarabad RDO inspects Golla Cheruvu

Vikarabad: Revenue Divisional Officer Venu Madhav said that the illegal encroachments in Golla Cheruvu would be removed. He along with municipal chairperson Sunita Sampat, irrigation and municipal authorities visited the Golla Cheruvu on Wednesday. After obtaining full information about the area of the tank bed, the encroachments would be decided upon, he said.

Seven drainages are emptying themselves into the tank from both sides leading to emission of stinking smell in the region, he said. The problem would be resolved after taking it up with the officials. Irrigation divisional engineer Neeraja, councilors Srinivas, Jubair Lala, MRO Ramulu and others were also present.
