Kapra: Alleging State government being inaction towards private educational institutions which has been collecting high fees, leaders of student unions like PDSU, SFI and AISF on Thursday burnt effigy of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao at ECIL Junction. They claimed that the educational institutions bandh call given by them was a grand success.
The demands include – Regularisation of fee at corporate and private educational institutions; basic facilities at government institutions; filling up of teacher and lecturer posts; immediate release of scholarship and fee re-imbursement dues. They warned to intensify the agitation if the demands were not addressed.
SFI Medchal district president R Santosh, vice-president K Srikanth Reddy, PDSU state vice-president Nageshwar, AISF ECIL wing secretary Vishal, DYFI Medchal district vice-president Narasmiha, SFI leaders G Aravind and Shiva, PDSU division vice-president Swathi were present.
