Vikarabad: Joint Collector Aruna Kumari has said that a survey by Union Drinking Water and Sanitation department’s Swachh Survekshan Rural-2018 will be operational in the district from August 1 to 31 for the purpose of awarding ranking of the state or the district.
In a meeting at Collectorate on Monday, she said that a model survey would be conducted in schools, places of worship, primary health centers, weekly shandies, bazaars and so on to assess the progress. She said that people would be sensitized on use of sanitary toilets built in the district so far and putting them to use. District Rural Development Officer Johnson and District Panchayat Officer Majid and others took part.
