Vikarabad: Officer on Special Duty for Dharanai website, containing land details, Rajat Kumar Saini asked revenue officials to rectify the mistakes in pending pattadar passbooks and upload the corrected documents to the website within a week.

In a meeting to review the progress, he said the Vikarabad district is lagging behind other districts because 50 per cent of the rectification of land record works remained pending for various reasons. He made it clear to the revenue officials to clear their doubts on technical issues but should not take evasive action. If the land records are not rectified in a week, severe punishment is awarded, he cautioned.

Bomraspet, Mominpet and Daultabad mandals are trailing other mandals in respect of the land records rectification work, he pointed out. He asked RDOs to go to mandals daily and get the works done by the tahsildars. In-charge Collector Raghunandan Rao issues necessary instructions on Aadhaar seeding, downloading the farmer photo from e-KYC and sought to know from them about their problems. Joint collector Aruna Kumari, Vikarabad/Tandur RDOs Viswanadham and Venu Madhava Rao, Tahsildars and VROs of all mandals took part in the meeting.
