12-year-old boy rescued from child labour

Hyderabad: A 12-year-old boy who was engaged in child labour was rescued by the Andhra Pradesh Balala Hakkula Sangham activists and Labour Department officials from Kubera Towers at Narayanaguda on Monday. The boy, Sameer, was employed by his father Riaz Malik at Max Delta Travels of Kubera Towers to pickup heavy condoned boards and scrap material like fans, coolers etc. Observing this, the Balala Hakkula Sangham activists informed the Labour Commissioner Ramanjaneyulu. On the instructions of the Commissioner, labour officer Rajashekar and his team rescued the boy. Balala Hakkula Sangham president Achyuta Rao expressed thanks to Ramanjaneyulu for his quick action.Next Story
