4 girl students from city go missing

Four girl students were reported missing from city-based schools. Two girls, Ratnavelu Shruti, and Zephra Reid of St Ann’s High School, Tarnaka, went missing on Tuesday afternoon. Both students were of Class X left for the school in the morning around 7.30 and did not return till 3.30 pm, the police said.

Hyderabad: Four girl students were reported missing from city-based schools. Two girls, Ratnavelu Shruti, and Zephra Reid of St Ann’s High School, Tarnaka, went missing on Tuesday afternoon. Both students were of Class X left for the school in the morning around 7.30 and did not return till 3.30 pm, the police said.
Police joined the parents in search for the girl in Mettuguda area and other localities they have been acquainted with. Based on the complaint by Bhanumati, the mother of Shruti, the Osmania University police registered a case. In another incident, two girls from Sneha Sadan Anathashram, Dundigal, went missing since Monday. According to Anathashram officials, the two students of tenth standard, Columbus School, Miyapur, went to school as usually, but did not return.
